ABOUT
THE SEMINAR
This Seminar aims at familiarizing Participants with
the various Open Source
Softwares available to manage the Library Resources & Services effectively.
Open-source software is computer software that is
available in source code form for amendment & adoption. Open source
software is very often developed in a public, collaborative manner. This
Seminar focuses on Library Automation Open Source Software-Koha, Digital
Library Open Source Software-DSpace, Course Management
System-Moodle & Web Publishing Software-Drupal, Wordpress and their usage.
Some popular software available in the industry for customization will be
discussed in the Seminar.
Registration Fees:
Rs 250/- till 27th October, 2015. After that and spot
registration fee – Rs.300/-
DD has to be taken
